Learn to Fly
Learning to fly now days is easier than ever. You do not have to learn by crashing like we used to a few years ago. The new radios allow you to connect your transmitter (student) to another transmitter (instructor) via a trainer cord.
The instructor is "in control" of the plane the entire time you are flying as a student. The instructor will show you how to take off and land you plane and will remain in control until you are ready to fly on your on.
Computer simulator programs also are a great aid in learning how to fly a remote control airplane. They are very realistic and give you plenty of "stick time" while learning with out crashing your plane. If you crash the simulator practice plane, just hit the space bar and start over again!

If you are interested, contact any of the club members and we can get you in contact with an experienced instructor. You will probably practice with several instructors before you are ready to fly on your own.
