What is SPAM ?  Spam is a word used to describe unwanted and unsolicited E-mail.  It is usually advertisements.

SHAREINET has powerful filtering software available for you to use to eliminate Spam E-mails in you account.

 You have two options to implement these filtering programs.

1. Let our software filters identify and mark all suspect E-mail as *****SPAM***** in the E-mail subject line.  You can download E-mail as usual and eliminate as desired.  You can even have your E-mail program (Outlook and Outlook Express) automatically delete this E-mail if you wish. 
   
   

2. Let our software filters identify and delete SPAM at our mail servers so that it will never come into your computer's mail box.
   
   This is a $2 per month service.

   If none of these filters do the job for you, then next alternative is changing your email name.  You may do this at no charge.

   If you have added the spam protection service to your email account, we have added three new features to enable you to manage or change the settings on the spam filters on your account..

   1.      You can change the level of the spam filters.  A lower number means higher filtration and fewer messages will get through. A number lower than 6.0 is not recommended!

   2.       You can add email addresses you choose to a “White list”.  These addresses will never be eliminated as spam and will always come into your account.

   3.       You can add email addresses to a “Black list”.  These addresses will always be prevented from entering your email account.
